Publication: Highlights of the Key Changes Introduced by the Business Facilitation Act, 2022
On February 14, 2023, the President signed the Business Facilitation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill into law. The Business Facilitation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023 (the “BFA”) is a legislative intervention by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) whose objectives are to make Nigeria a progressively easier place to build and grow a business.
The main objective of the BFA is to promote the ease of doing business in Nigeria and eliminate bottlenecks. To achieve this objective, the BFA amended 21 business-related laws. In this publication, we highlight the notable amendments to these laws.
